Almond Chocolate Bark
This 3 ingredient chocolate treat is a piece of heaven!
These sweet bites can be made in under 15 minutes!
Recipe
2-3 cups raw almonds
1 16 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips(I use soy free)
2 tbsp coconut oil
Sea Salt
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Chop the raw almonds into pieces. You can play around with the size, I like to have some pieces bigger than others.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the almonds on the baking sheet and sprinkle sea salt. Roast them in the oven for 10 minutes. Keep an eye on them to make sure they don't burn.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil. I like to microwave for 30 seconds at a time. It usually takes 2 minutes for the whole bag so I stir them after every 30 second mark to make sure they don't burn.
Pour the roasted almonds into the bowl on melted chocolate. Stir well, then pour the mixture out onto a new piece of parchment paper on the baking sheet.
Place in the freezer for 3 hours. Then break the bark apart with your hands to create little pieces of chocolate bark!
